We are coming up on THREE YEARS Aug 29Th,2008!

 

We have not forgot about the Katrina Survivors/ Internal Displaced Persons

from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.There will be a bus once again leaving

from Atlanta going to New Orleans for a full day of activities.

 

Those of you who went with us (The Peoples Hurricane Relief Fund)

the past two years remember this spiritual trip and how important it

was for all on the bus.

 

PHRF is no longer with you but "Safe Streets" a grass roots

New Orleans organization will be paying for the bus this year

 and organization a day of activities around Hurricane Katrina and Rita.

 

Like last year the bus will be leaving Atlanta on the night of

Aug 28Th,2008 at 11pm and returning from New Orleans

around 7:30pm Aug 29Th,2008.

 

You guy's will be able to sleep going down and coming back. 

 We have a state of the art 50 seat EASY RIDING tour bus.

 

BUS RIDE IS FREE BUT YOU MUST HAVE MONEY FOR FOOD.

 

We will arrive in New Orleans about 6:30am on Aug 29Th,2008

and will have something to eat.  By 9am we will be in the "9Th Ward"

for the beginning the spiritual unity with the lost ones.

There will be a "MARCH" and a bus for those who can't march.

At 200pm "SAFE STREETS" will have a program which we all will go to.
