Katrina’s Angels Hurricane Season 2009
We've had a light Hurricane Season this year but flooding in the east has been awful. Some have asked “What can I do now?”
#1 VOLUNTEER with Katrina’s Angels. We need volunteers that will work from home to help gather resources for the evacuees and get this info to those who need it. We will provide the framework for you and together we will be able to present the evacuees with necessary information. Go here to volunteer: http://katrinasangels.org/volunteers.asp
#2 CASH Donations: Three years ago, many Katrina survivors needed our help. Through your generous donations, we were able to help out St. Bernards Parish, buy Christmas Gifts, and provide direct assistance as needed to other communities. We have a network of volunteers in and around the Gulf Coast. These volunteers help us determine which communities are in need. But the big difference with your donation via Katrina's Angels is that ALL of the money goes to the survivors. We have recently provided cash support to on-site team members to help families get back into their homes.
We are volunteers---no hidden administrative costs, no red tape to slow the process down and no lengthy forms---the donations will go where they are needed. Go here to donate: http://katrinasangels.org/Donate.asp
